The Blackhawks square off tonight against the Vancouver Canucks on Comcast SportsNet+. Here are three keys to the game.

1. Get to Bobby Lou early: In case you haven’t heard, the Canucks are going through another goaltending controversy. Roberto Luongo was supposed to be traded by now, has not, and is their number one guy again. Saw his performance against the Colorado Avalanche last game where he got the win and a shutout, but boy did he look shaky early. Test him early and often.

2. Expect a physical game: These two teams have a violent history, whether you’re talking about Alex Burrows pulling Duncan Keith’s hair in a fight, or then-Canuck Raffi Torres steamrolling Brent Seabrook behind the net. The latest chapter of this saga saw Duncan Keith elbow Daniel Sedin last year and receive a five-game suspension. It was payback for an elbow Sedin had thrown at Keith 10 minutes earlier. Sedin missed 12 games because of a concussion before returning in the playoffs against the Los Angeles Kings. Canucks fans think Keith helped end their season.

3. The power play is a difference maker: The power play didn’t score against Minnesota and didn’t generate a lot of chances. They had a total of two shots on their two power plays. Interesting stat…looking back at the score sheet, four of Chicago's six wins have been ignited with a power play goal getting them on the score sheet with their first goal. A successful power play gives your team a shot in the arm.
