ORLANDOJoakim Noah will miss Wednesday nights game against the Magic, due to flu-like symptoms, Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau said. Thibodeau wouldnt divulge who would replace the center in the Bulls starting lineup, calling it a game-time decision, though he praised the recent play of veteran backup Nazr Mohammed.
Noah is not feeling well, Thibodeau said before the game. You just try to see how he does. He was in the hotel last night, all day today.
Mohammed has played very well, the coach continued. His energy, his size at the rim, hes making some good plays out of the post, so hes done a good job and I like him against size.
Suffering from the same symptoms as Noah is reserve forward Vladimir Radmanovic. The duo came to the Amway Center with their teammates, but could leave to rest at the team hotel before flying to Miami for Fridays matchup with the Heat.
Kirk Hinrich will play against Orlando, the point guard told CSNChicago.com, though Thibodeau was cautiously optimistic about the veterans status. Hinrich missed Mondays home loss to the Bobcats with a left-knee injury.
Kirk, I think is a go, Thibodeau said. Hes going to warm up and well see.
