DENVER -- The Bulls still aren’t completely healthy, but in Thursday night’s matchup with the up-tempo Nuggets, they’ll likely have another key piece back in the lineup.
Prior to the team’s morning shootaround at the Pepsi Center, All-Star center Joakim Noah -- who has missed three consecutive games with plantar fasciitis in his right foot -- said he plans to play in the tongiht’s contest.
“I felt pretty good [after Wednesday afternoon’s practice in Denver, his first since sitting out due to the injury],” he said. “I’ll be all right.”
Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau maintained that Noah, as well as backup shooting guard Marco Belinelli, would be game-time decisions.
“Marco didn’t do much,” said the coach. “Jo went through the whole practice, so we’ll see where he is tonight.”
Belinelli suffered a right-ankle injury in the opening quarter of Monday’s loss in Indiana but returned to the game to score a season-high 24 points.
