Pippen sounds off on Isaiah Thomas

On Wednesday, June 13, NBA TV will premiere a documentary titled "Dream Team" to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 1992 United States men's Olympic basketball team winning the gold medal in Barcelona, Spain.

Among the topics included in the documentary are:

- One-on-one interviews with Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Karl Malone, Magic Johnson, Patrick Ewing and others.

- An exclusive video of Jordan and Johnson going head-to-head in a team practice.

- Rare footage of the team's only loss in the Olympics.

- The selection process behind how the team was chosen.

The last point is an area that's sparked debate between two members of the '92 team and Detroit Pistons Hall of Fame point guard Isaiah Thomas.

Terry Foster of the Detroit News wrote a column discussing how Pippen and Malone didn't want Thomas on the "Dream Team" and sates the documentary is incomplete without one of the Pistons' "Bad Boys."

To find out the story behind Thomas being left off the roster, tune in to the documentary next week.
