ORLANDOAs CSNChicago.com first reported via Twitter in the wee hours of Saturday morning, Bulls All-Star point guard Derrick Rose agreed to a 14-year, 260-million contract with adidas.

I signed my deal Friday, Rose confirmed before Saturdays All-Star Game practice. Its a blessing. I really couldnt believe it, especially when I heard the amount.

Im happy with adidas, he continued. They had my back and thats all I needed from them. Theyve been marketing me great.

Roses deal is believed to be the second-largest in the history of sneaker contracts, but while various reports have different figures for the official numbers, as an adidas official told CSNChicago.com via text message Saturday, This is arguably the most complex deal in the industry.

Rose's sneaker deal comes on the heels of a five-year, 94-million contract extension with the Bulls.
