Former Bulls great Dennis Rodman made headlines when he stopped paying child support payments and claimed he was broke. The long-running case began when he divorced his ex-wife in 2004.
Well, now the missing payments have earned him 104 hours of community service and informal probation. He will also need to begin paying 4,500 to his ex-wife each month once again.
"My suggestion is to use your talents as a motivator, as a fine, fine athlete and as a fine person to assist others in need," Court Commissioner Barry Michaelson said.
As long as Rodman writes the check and fulfills his hours, he will not face further charges.
