Cubs-Brewers postponed; doubleheader Tuesday

Good news, Cubs fans: The Cubs didn't lose Monday's opener of a four-game series against the division-leading Brewers.

Bad news: The Brewers get two shots at the new-look, no-name North Siders on Tuesday.

Monday night's game was postponed because of bad weather after nearly two hours of inexplicable delay.

The game is scheduled to be made up as a split doubleheader Tuesday with a pair of separate-admission, seven-inning games starting at 1:20 p.m. and 7:05 p.m.

Rookie Justin Steele is scheduled to make his big-league starting debut in Tuesday's opener.

Alec Mills, who was Monday's scheduled starter, gets pushed back to Tuesday's nightcap.

Tickets for Monday's game will be honored for admission to Tuesday's 1:20 game, with gates expected to open about 90 minutes before first pitch.

After gates close following the first game, they're scheduled to reopen about 90 minutes prior to the start of the second game.

The Cubs have lost four straight, including a three-game sweep over the weekend by the White Sox, and 10 of their last 12.
