Garza exits start after three innings

ST. LOUIS - With his name constantly being mentioned in trade rumors, it looked suspicious when Matt Garza did not come out for the fourth inning on Saturday night at Busch Stadium.

But this did not mean a blockbuster deal was going down. Garza was removed from the game because of cramping in his right triceps. X-rays were negative.

Garza had thrown 33 pitches and held the St. Louis Cardinals scoreless for three innings.
