After an eventful April that saw a benching and a five-game suspension, Jorge Soler has started May out on the right foot.
On Tuesday, the Cubs top prospect was named the Florida State League Player of the Week for the period ending May 12th. Soler, 21, hit .467 on the week (7-for-15) with six extra-base hits, including two homers. He also drove in four runs and scored five.
