Improved delivery has led to an increase in velocity; fastball sits between 91-93 mph and can touch 95. Delivery has natural deception, which makes him more effective against righties. No longer tips his changeup with an adjustment in his arm speed.
Improved changeup still needs to be refined; must to throw it for strikes more often. His consistency has improved in his professional career but he needs to master the three-pitch mix to keep advancing.

His biggest accomplishment: “I think I’ve really focused on getting better every day and trying to take it one day at a time. I’m proudest of that perspective and controlling what I can control and not let external factors control me. It’s definitely something you have to learn and you have practice every day. It doesn’t come naturally, for me at least, to have that perspective.”
