Dave Bolland and Ray Emery will be out and Henrik Karlsson will back up Corey Crawford when the Chicago Blackhawks host the Minnesota Wild in Game 1 of the Western Conference quarterfinals on Tuesday night.
Coach Joel Quenneville is still listing Bolland (groin) and Emery (lower body) as day to day. And Quenneville hopes they will be back on the ice soon.
Meanwhile, Karlsson was taking his share of shots at practice this morning. Karlsson was recalled from Rockford last weekend.
The Blackhawks will be facing a Minnesota Wild team that is making its first playoff appearance in five seasons.
The Wild, according to Minneapolis Star-Tribune beat writer Michael Russo, will depart Chicago after Game 1 and practice back in Minnesota on Wednesday and Thursday before returning here for Game 2 on Friday.
