John Danks’ line suggests he was all over the place, but effective in his second minor-league rehab start Tuesday night.
The White Sox left-hander earned a no-decision at Triple-A Charlotte after he allowed two earned runs over five innings. Danks struck out four batters but also issued five walks and surrendered a home run.
White Sox outfielder Dayan Viciedo also appeared in both games of a double header for Charlotte and went 0-for-6. Viciedo, who is on the disabled list retroactive to April 18 with a left oblique injury, made his first appearance since he was placed on the DL.
Danks made only his second appearance in an actual game since he underwent shoulder surgery on Aug. 6. Prior to the last week, Danks had been relegated to appearances in extended spring training.
