Adam Dunn tied a major-league record with his eighth Opening Day home run of his career Friday, a sixth-inning bomb off Colby Lewis. The home run tied Dunn with Ken Griffey Jr. and Frank Robinson on the all-time Opening Day dinger list. Dunn's company at the top of the list:

8 homers: Dunn, Robinson, Griffey
7 homers: Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Eddie Mathews
6 homers: Dave Winfield, Scott Rolen, Gary Carter, Carl Yastrzemski, Brooks Robinson, Richie Hebner
