Final Vote update: Darvish holds "slim" lead over Peavy

Jake Peavy is only slightly behind Rangers starter Yu Darvish MLB's Final Vote, per the first results update released Tuesday morning. Given he's going up against an extremely popular international player on a team which had three players voted into the All-Star starting lineup by fans, that's pretty impressive.

But it'll be more impressive for Peavy to actually beat out Darvish and earn the final AL All-Star bid. Fans have been great so far, and with voting open until 3 p.m. on Thursday, there's still plenty of time to TakeJake to Kansas City.
