Red Sox, Jays still after Gavin Floyd?

The Gavin Floyd trade rumors of the offseason just won't die. With a tip-of-the-hat to Fornelli, here's what Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe wrote Sunday regarding Floyd:

"He continues to be a focus of teams looking for one more starter. He could be in play for the Blue Jays or Red Sox. The White Sox dont appear eager to move Floyd, but general manager Kenny Williams wouldnt be shy if it brought him a decent bounty in return."

So, basically, nothing has changed. The White Sox don't want to move Floyd, but would if they were blown away. Sounds like, I don't know, just about every other player on the team right now. Although if the Sox fall out of contention quickly, these rumors may actually pick up some steam for the first time.

Or maybe's Floyd's shelling at the hands of the White Sox on Saturday will scare some teams off.
