Chris Sale joined Chicago Tribune Live Monday to discuss a wide range of topics, mainly centering around his move to the starting rotation.
"It's something that I've been waiting on and looking forward to it," Sale said. "And I'm just really happy that the opportunity's here and I get my go at it."
Also of note, David Kaplan asked him about the allure of moving from the starting rotation to bullpen, which Sale explained as a draw related to routine. Of course, given that an average starting pitcher has roughly the same value to a team as a great reliever, "importance" would've been a good answer as well.
