Last week, The Hardball Times' Chris Jaffe rolled out his class of 2012 Hall of Fame projections based on 10 guidelines and early voting returns. It's an extensive methodology that's incredibly well-researched, so check it out.
Jaffe has Barry Larkin standing as the lone inductee this year, with the former Reds shortstop seeing a 20 percent increase in votes to get him into Cooperstown.
While Tim Raines is only projected to receive 52 percent of the vote this year, that's an encouraging 14 percent increase from 2011. Given he started with just 23 percent of the vote, his arrow seems to be pointing up.
Hall of Fame voting results will be announced Monday at 1 pm.
