With May in the books and two months of the 2012 season completed, Sports Illustrated's Cliff Corcoran updated his MLB Awards list and has Jake Peavy right in the hunt for the American League Cy Young Award.
He places Peavy third among his five candidates, behind Detroit's Justin Verlander and Jered Weaver of the Angels and ahead of Tampa Bay's David Price and C.J. Wilson of the Angels.
