After just over seventeen months of being sidelined due to a knee injury, former league MVP Derrick Rose returned to the court in the Bulls' preseason opener against the Central Division rival Indiana Pacers Saturday night.

In the first quarter, Rose logged seven minutes, 1-for-4 from the field, one rebound, one assist, and two points.

In the 82-76 win over the Pacers, Rose finished the game with 20 minutes, 5-for-12 from the field for 13 points, two rebounds, three assists, two steals, and four turnovers.
