With the national networks taking over the rest of the NBA playoff telecasts, the one and only Stacey King is now free to bring his unique perspective to the Comcast SportsNet studio. Like he did two seasons ago, Stacey will serve as an expert analyst on Bulls Postgame Live during the series against Miami. Stacey is known for his trademark calls and sense of humor, but he’s also one of the brightest minds in the business when it comes to breaking down game strategy.

And there’s no question there will be plenty to talk about in this upcoming series with Miami. The Bulls split four regular-season meetings against the Heat, outrebounding the defending champs by an average margin of 43-34. And the formula for beating Miami really hasn’t changed. The Bulls will try to attack their interior defense with Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah, and hope that Marco Belinelli and Nate Robinson can provide consistent 3-point shooting.

The real key against the Heat is avoiding turnovers. Miami thrives on run-out dunks keyed by their defense, and the Bulls will have to limit their mistakes like they did in Game 7 in Brooklyn, where they only turned the ball over six times. It seems like every bad pass against the Heat turns into a dunk for LeBron James or Dwyane Wade, firing up the crowd and the over-modulated public address announcer at American Airlines Arena. Tom Thibodeau will be preaching ball security, and hoping Robinson is able to keep his emotions under control. If the Bulls can keep their turnovers in the 10-12 range, they have a chance to keep every game competitive.

There’s no question the Bulls are up against it in Game 1 without two of their best defensive players in Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich. But after watching the heart displayed by Noah & company during Game 7 in Brooklyn, who’s going to count them out?

So, one more reminder, as soon as the action goes final in Miami, flip over to Comcast SportsNet for expanded post-game coverage. We’ll bring you all the news conferences from Miami, and Luke Stuckmeyer will be on site to handle player interviews. And, you don’t want to miss what Stacey has to say about all the key plays in Game 1. Make your plans to join us for Bulls Post-Game live, which will also be streaming live on

Hope to see you later tonight.
