Despite the day-to-day status of Kirk Hinrich, Derrick Rose and Taj Gibson, it sounds as if only one could be returning to the lineup tonight against the Denver Nuggets. And it probably won't be Rose.

Gibson has missed nine straight games since spraining his left MCL in a Feb. 24 loss in Oklahoma City.
Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau was pleased with what he saw from the forward in this morning’s shootaround.
“We’ll see tonight,” Thibodeau said, when asked about Gibson returning tonight. “It was encouraging to see him do the things he did today, but we want to make sure he’s ready.”
Thibodeau also said it’s “unlikely” Rose will make his season debut tonight, despite speculation over the last couple of days. Hinrich is also listed as a game-time decision, but didn’t do much in practice for the second straight day, making his return unlikely as well. If he’s unable to go, it will be seven straight games he has missed with a stress reaction in his right foot.

Richard Hamilton will miss his ninth straight game with a sore back and Thibodeau isn’t sure if the veteran guard’s season is over.
“There’s an unknown,” Thibodeau said. “It’s a back, so those things are tricky. We’ll just have to wait and see.
