Bulls' Derrick Rose out for season following knee surgery

After sustaining an injury in the loss to the Portland Trail Blazers Friday night and undergoing a successful surgery Monday morning to repair a torn medial meniscus in his right knee, Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose is out for the remainder of the season.

The procedure was performed at Rush University Medical Center by Bulls head team physician Dr. Brian Cole and team physician Dr. Chuck Bush Joseph.
