It's clear that Bulls center and Chicago native Nazr Mohammed feels that basketball is more than just a game in his hometown.
"It's a way of life," the veteran said. "Growing up here, you had to learn how to play basketball. It was just something that was a badge of honor. Everybody in my neighborhood played. We got playground legends. It's just the way it is."
So how does Chicago high school basketball compare to a city like New York?
"I'm a Chicago guy," Mohammed said. "Of course it's better than New York's high school basketball."
