Four Chicago Bulls were selected to the ballot for the 2011 NBA All-Star Game.

Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer represent the team in a pool of 60 Eastern Conference players (24 guards, 24 forwards and 12 centers) who have the chance to be voted in by fans as starters for the league's annual midseason affair, which will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 20. Voting started Thursday and ends Jan. 23, with starters set to be announced Jan. 27.

Rose was selected to his first All-Star Game as a reserve last season and as the league's fourth-leading scorer at 25.5 points per game (tops in the conference, for which he is the reigning Player of the Week), he stands a strong chance of being a starter, based on his performance and blossoming national profile.

Noah, the league's second-leading rebounder, also has a good shot at making the game, although likely as a reserve selected by the league's coaches, as Orlando center Dwight Howard has been a virtual shoo-in as the starter at the position over the past few seasons.

The underrated Deng is a longshot, but currently averaging a career high in scoring, the legitimacy of his candidacy will probably be tied to the Bulls' first-half season success.

Boozer hasn't suited up for Chicago yet and thus, faces almost impossible odds, although he was a Western Conference All-Star twice during his time in Utah.

Regardless of which -- or any -- Bulls participate in the All-Star Game, having multiple players justifiable of consideration (based on their play andor status) is continued evidence of the team's resurgence that truly began with Rose's initial appearance last season, the first time a Chicago player was selected since Michael Jordan in 1998.
