Orlando point guard Jameer Nelson hit a clutch shot in Wednesday night's triple-overtime loss to the Bulls. But it cost him.

Nelson hit a step-back jumper with 11 second remaining in regulation to send the game to overtime. But he was fined $15,000 for an obscene gesture he made after that shot, which you can describe for yourself by watching the video above.

Nelson finished last night's game with 31 points on 13-for-30 shooting, six rebounds and 10 assists in 54 minutes, but his wallet is a tad bit lighter this morning.

The dance was made famous by Sam Cassell, who may have had inspiration from Major League II's Pedro Cerrano.

Last year Marco Belinelli also was fined $15,000 for the same gesture after hitting a 3-pointer in the final minutes of the Bulls' Game 1 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.

At the time Belinelli said he understood the fine but didn't feel like going into detail about it:

"What do you want me to say? It’s the rule,” Belinelli said before Game 1 of the Bulls’ second-round series against the Heat. “[The NBA] called me [Sunday]. They asked me why I did that and I said, ‘I was so happy about the shot, so maybe I didn’t think too much.’ But that’s okay. I have something to think about, about Miami. I don’t want to think about that right now.”
