Joakim Noah will be in the lineup tonight for the Bulls when they take on the Dallas Mavericks on CSN, while Luol Deng's will miss his fourth straight game with a sore Achilles.
Noah, nursing a sore hip suffered in the Christmas Day win against the Nets, missed Friday's practice but was able to go through Saturday morning's shootaround at the Berto Center and will be tasked with slowing down All-Pro Dirk Nowitzki. Thibodeau will play multiple defenders on the 7-footer, knowing that different looks give the Bulls the best chance to slow him down.

"Yeah, he's very different to guard because of his skill set: the high release and he scores from so many different areas, the pick-and-roll, the post, the catch-and-shoot. So we're going to have to guard him with our team and make him earn his points. But his shot is very difficult to get to."
Deng has missed the last three games and told reporters earlier that he's "most likely out" with the Achilles injury, opting to let the injury fully heal instead of fighting through it like he's done in the past. Mike Dunleavy has started in Deng's place the last three games and is doing so again tonight.
