Nearly five years ago LeBron James made the decision to switch from No. 23 to No. 6, saying all players should surrender the number Michael Jordan once wore because "what Michael Jordan has done for the game has to be recognized some way soon."
That unofficial petition James began never came to fruition, the next season James made the decision to join the Miami Heat wearing No. 6, where he won a pair of MVPs and NBA titles.
Now back in Cleveland, James is completing his return home by opting to don his old uniform.
James once again took to his Instagram account on Sunday to announce that he'd be moving back to his old No. 23, the uniform number he wore from his sophomore year in high school to his final year in Cleveland in 2010.
