Marbury includes Rose in conversation as best NBA player

As basketball fans anxiously await #TheReturn, Derrick Rose is already being considered in the conversation as best player in the NBA, even after after missing all of last season with a knee injury.

Former NBA great Stephon Marbury tweeted his praise of Rose earlier this week:


The 36-year-old knows a thing or two about what it means to be a great point guard. In his 13 years in the NBA, "Starbury" averaged 19.3 points and 7.6 assists per game.

In his four seasons of game action, Rose sits at 21 points per game with 6.8 assists.
