As part of our coverage leading up to the 2015 NBA Draft we will provide profiles of more than 60 prospects, including video interviews with each player, what they're saying leading up to draft day as well as their potential fit on the Bulls.

Michael Qualls, G, Arkansas

6'5" | 201 lbs. | 21 years old

2014-15 stats:

15.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 43.6 FG%, 30.2 minutes

Projection:

Undrafted (Qualls tore his ACL last week in a pre-draft workout)

Quotable:

"Locking down, my tough-nosed mentality. I feel like for my size, me being a guard for my position I feel like I rebound the ball better than anyone else. Of course I can score the basketball, just based on my credentials. I can score the basketball in many different ways, I can post up the smaller guard, I can go around a bigger forward, so offensively I'm fine."

Fit for the Bulls:

The Bulls don't have a second-round pick, and Qualls doesn't fit what they're looking for. The junior shooting guard was more of a slasher and attacker offensively, shooting just 33 percent from beyond the arc. He certainly plays good defense and rebounds well for his position, but the Bulls wouldn't have much use for him in a backcourt that features similarly skilled players in Jimmy Butler and Tony Snell. Add in Doug McDermott and their upcoming first-round pick and you've got an equation that doesn't equal Qualls in Chicago. He could latch on somewhere if his outside shot improves during the pre-draft process.
