As part of our coverage leading up to the 2015 NBA Draft we will provide profiles of more than 60 prospects, including video interviews with each player, what they're saying leading up to draft day as well as their potential fit on the Bulls.

Ryan Boatright, G, Connecticut

5'11" | 170 lbs. | 22 years old

2014-15 stats:

17.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.4 steals, 41.1 3FG%, 35.8 minutes

Projection:

Undrafted

Quotable:

"If it's defense, scoring, running the floor, being a floor general, whatever, just showing that I belong in the NBA and I deserve to play...When you're at this size all you got to do is have a lot of heart. If you have a lot of heart and pride and understand the game of basketball you should be fine."

Fit for the Bulls:

Tom Thibodeau found unexpected success with shorter, score-first point guards in CJ Watson, Nate Robinson, DJ Augstin and Aaron Brooks. But don't expect Fred Hoiberg to go that route, especially with a player like Boatright who isn't a first-round prospect. An excellent player at Connecticut, which included an NCAA Championship two years ago, his small frame (and height) isn't going to translate to the league right now. He admitted at the Combine he needs to put on weight, but even so the Bulls don't have a second-round pick so it's unlikely Boatright will be in Chicago.
