Quotable:

On the Big Ten: “I think it’s one of the best conferences. The competition level that we played against, the scouting reports and coaches that you go up against, obviously it’s not the NBA, but it might be the next best thing in terms of how to prep yourself for the next level. So I think a lot of stuff that I learned in my four years at Iowa will help me going forward.”

Fit for the Bulls:

White's versatility and do-it-all toolkit means he'd be a fit for just about any team, particularly one looking to add some depth. That always fits the Bulls' description, looking to find the latest iteration of what's been a strong reserve unit over the past several years. White has size — he's the same height as Taj Gibson — but plays offense like a small forward or even a shooting guard at times. White's strengths include getting to the rim and getting to the free-throw line, something not necessarily in abundance as far as Bulls reserves go. As a small forward, White could provide a change of pace from guys like Mike Dunleavy and Doug McDermott, who are more pure shooters.
