As part of our coverage leading up to the 2015 NBA Draft we will provide profiles of more than 60 prospects, including video interviews with each player, what they're saying leading up to draft day as well as their potential fit on the Bulls.

Jerian Grant, G, Notre Dame

6'4" | 200 lbs. | 22 years old

2014-15 stats:

16.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 47.8 FG%, 37.1 minutes

Selection:

First round, 19th overall by the Washington Wizards (traded to Knicks through Atlanta)

Quotable:

"I think my play-making ability (is my best trait). Just when the ball’s in my hand, coming off screens. I think I make the players around me a lot better when the ball’s in my hand but I’ve played off the ball too. So playing 1 or 2, I think I can make the guys around me a lot better."

Analysis:

The Knicks needed a point guard and could have gotten him with Emmanuel Mudiay, so they give away Hardaway and get their guy with Grant. Already 23 and a fifth-year senior, Grant is going to step in right away and start for the Knicks. He'll distribute in a big way for Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis.
