Love or hate sleeves on NBA uniforms, they likely have a place to stay in the league. And now, for the first time in All-Star Game history, jerseys will feature those sleeves.

The NBA and adidas revealed the jerseys for the 63rd NBA All-Star Game, which will take place in New Orleans on Feb. 16.

As expected, both the Eastern Conference and Western Conference uniforms resemble the "rich and unique culture" of the city, complete with vibrant colors and a Fleur-de-lis -- Louisiana's official symbol -- patch on the front of the jersey with a "W" or "E" in the middle of the logo to denote conference.

The Western Conference jerseys are red with a purple Fleur-de-lis and gold trim. The Eastern Conference jerseys are blue with a green Fleur-de-lis and white trim.

The warm-ups will be grey and white, with conference logo patches. Each individual will have a custom jacket to represent accolades such as MVPs, All-Star Game appearances, NBA championships, scoring titles and more.

“Each year, we look forward to developing a unique on-court look for the players that pays homage to the host city and adds to the excitement of this highly anticipated game,” said Chris Grancio, adidas head of global basketball sports marketing, in a press release. “This year’s All-Star collection reflects New Orleans’ festive musical history while also providing the premium performance elements that NBA athletes have grown accustomed to.”

The design -- along with the short sleeves and number-less front side of the jerseys -- are similar to the ones 10 teams, including the Bulls, wore on Christmas Day as part of the league's initiative to include sleeved jerseys as part of teams' ever-growing wardrobes. Players seem to be split on the idea of sleeved jerseys, with those against them saying they restrict arm movement.
