The new LED boards outside of the United Center featured the Bulls' top free-agent target this week as pictures of Carmelo Anthony donning a Chicago uniform lit up down Madison St.
But according to the latest reports in the Anthony saga, those photos outside of the arena may be as close as Chicago gets to seeing the small forward in a Bulls jersey.
The New York Daily News' Frank Isola reported that Anthony is expected to re-sign with the New York Knicks, who have offered him a five-year, $129 million contract.
This report follows up after others, saying the Knicks are the front-runner, as well as New York viewing as Chicago as the only other real threat.
Anthony is expected to make his decision after this weekend.
