Earlier in the week, it was revealed that Rose’s jersey was second in sales worldwide among NBA players for the 2012-13 season, despite the fact that he didn’t play.
“Oh, it’s the second? That’s my first time hearing that. It’s a blessing, it’s an honor at the same time,” Rose said, when informed of the fact. “My fans, they stuck with me from the beginning and they’re faithful. I do everything for them. I am them and they are me.”

Only Miami’s James sold more, but Rose was especially popular overseas, as his jersey was at the top of the list in Europe, China and Latin America, where the Bulls will face Washington in Brazil in their third preseason game Oct. 12.
