Scottie Pippen says '96 Bulls would sweep '16 Warriors

The 1995-96 Bulls still boast the best regular-season record in NBA history. But perhaps not for too much longer.

The Golden State Warriors have just eight losses with six regular-season games remaining, and it's possible they could take over the title.

But what if those two teams could somehow go head to head to truly prove which was the best NBA squad of all time?

Bulls legend Scottie Pippen doesn't think it would be close, telling Paul Pabst of The Dan Patrick Show on Saturday that the '96 Bulls would sweep this year's Warriors team were they to match up in a fantasy seven-game playoff series.

The Warriors wouldn't even win a game? That's saying something.

But that '96 Bulls team did feature a trio of Hall of Famers in Michael Jordan, Pippen and Dennis Rodman, not to mention head coach Phil Jackson.

And while it might not have been the main reason Pippen picked a Bulls sweep, the '96 Bulls also featured Steve Kerr, now the head coach of the Warriors. So the Bulls would know all the Warriors' plays.
