Derrick Rose continues to look more and more like his old self, scoring 13 points in 23 minutes in the Bulls' win over the Memphis Grizzlies in St. Louis. The former MVP wasn't the only bright star in the win, as Carlos Boozer scored 16 points and Taj Gibson came off the bench to score 15 of his own. The Bulls travel to the nation's (shut-down) capital on Saturday to take on John Wall and the Wizards, and next Wednesday Rose will make his United Center debut when the Bulls host the new-look Pistons.
Two teams staved off elimination Monday night as the Tampa Bay Rays and St. Louis Cardinals each picked up home wins to continue their respective series. The Dodgers also advanced late thanks to former White Sox Juan Uribe's two-run homer in the 8th inning against the Braves.
