ST. LOUIS – Artem Anisimov was injured late in the second period and did not return when the Blackhawks faced the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday night.
Anisimov played his final shift with about 5:30 remaining in the second period. Nick Schmaltz centered the second line after Anisimov’s departure.
Anisimov was riding a career-high, 11-game point streak entering tonight’s game. He did not assist on the Blackhawks’ first goal, a rebound by Marian Hossa.
