Engelland suspended three games after Kruger hit

Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Deryk Engelland was suspended three games today for his hit on Chicago Blackhawks center Marcus Kruger Tuesday night.

Kruger was hit midway through the first period of the Blackhawks' 3-2 loss to the Penguins. He played the rest of the period but did not play the final two of that game. He is currently out with a concussion.

Engelland was not penalized for the hit in the game.
