Gustav Forsling could play and Corey Crawford will get the start when the Blackhawks host the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night.

Forsling suffered an upper-body injury against the Flames when they were here last Monday. He’s skated for several days now and looks like he’s ready to return.

“There’s a good chance he can play tomorrow,” coach Joel Quenneville said. “He felt much better, looked good.”

The Blackhawks are coming off their best game of the season, a 3-0 victory over the Los Angeles Kings. The forward lineup looks like it will remain the same. Marian Hossa did not practice on Monday but is expected to play tomorrow.

Andrew Desjardins (lower body) continues to skate and could return this weekend. The Blackhawks have back-to-back games against the Dallas Stars on Saturday and Sunday nights.

Meanwhile, Trevor van Riemsdyk (upper body) continues to progress. Quenneville, who said van Riemsdyk was out about a month on Oct. 22, said today that van Riemsdyk is still on that schedule of return.
