Isaiah Thomas is expected to play in Game 2 against the Bulls on Tuesday in Boston before traveling to Tacoma, Washington, to be with his family following the death of his sister.
Chyna Thomas was killed in a one-car accident early Saturday morning, hours before Thomas suited up for the Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs. Thomas scored 33 points in Boston's 106-102 loss.
Head coach Brad Stevens also said Thomas is expected to play in Game 3 against the Bulls in Chicago after returning from Washington.

The trio was acquired in the Bulls' trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves. LaVine is rehabbing from a torn ACL, which cut his strong campaign short last season. Dunn is coming into his second season and was a player Gar/Pax thought highly of in last year's draft. Markkanen is a stretch-four that was drafted out of Arizona with the No. 7 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
