As part of our coverage leading up to the 2016 NBA Draft we will provide profiles of more than 50 prospects, including video interviews with each player, what they're saying leading up to draft day as well as their potential fit with the Bulls.

Elgin Cook, SF, Oregon

6'6" | 212 lbs. | 23 years old

2015-16 stats:

14.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.4 steals, 32.0 minutes

Projection:

Second round to undrafted

Quotable:

"Growing up being in Milwaukee, I watched a ton of Marquette guys. So guys like Wesley Matthews, Jimmy Butler, Jae Crowder is a big one for me. He doesn't do extra things. He shoots the open shot, he brings that defensive intensity I want to bring to the game."

Fit for the Bulls:

Cook is already 23 years old, and that will work against him. But his blend of athleticism, efficiency and versatility gives him a chance to be drafted in the second round. The Bulls are looking to get more versatile on the wing, something Doug McDermott, Tony Snell and Mike Dunleavy don't really offer. Cook may be worth the flier to see if he can stick, assuming he improves on his outside shot (33 percent from deep last season).
