As part of our coverage leading up to the 2016 NBA Draft we will provide profiles of more than 50 prospects, including video interviews with each player, what they're saying leading up to draft day as well as their potential fit with the Bulls.

Joel Bolomboy, PF, Weber State

6'9" | 224 lbs. | 22 years old

2015-16 stats:

17.1 points, 12.6 rebounds, 1.1 blocks, 55.4% FG, 32.8 minutes

Projection:

Second round to undrafted

Quotable:

“(I model my game after) Dennis Rodman. Just that nastiness he had to him. He defends and rebounds, just has that swagger on the court. And then some of the more recent players that are playing right now like Kenneth Faried, just his motor and his rebounding ability. Tristan Thompson, the way he defends and rebounds. He does his job exactly to a tee."

Fit for the Bulls:

If the Bulls do wind up losing Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol, they'll need to replace their two leading rebounders from the last two years. Bolomboy was a monster on the glass in his senior season, averaging the third most rebounds in the country. If the Bulls opt for a point guard or wing in the first round, Bolomboy is a potential fit for them in the second round as a bruising power forward to complement what Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic give Fred Hoiberg on the perimeter.
