Thibodeau will forget defense... at least for one game

All-Star games often feature a variety of slam dunks, fastbreak baskets and scores somewhere between 140-200 points for each team. Three elements that would normally have Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau pulling out his hair -- but not this weekend.

"It's going to be great, I'm looking forward to it," Thibodeau said. "I had the good fortune to participate in a couple of All-Star games as an assistant coach so I've got a pretty good understanding of what it's all about. Basically, dole out some minutes and get out of the way.

"Lets push it, lets try scoring as many as we can."

In all seriousness, Thibodeau is enjoying his time in Orlando for the NBA's All-Star weekend so far. He especially likes getting the chance to interact with some Bulls opponents he only gets to see as the enemy during the season and playoffs.

"When you're competing against them, you don't get to see them as people," Thibodeau explained. "Once you're in this type of setting, you get to spend some time with them and you see them differently."

Thibodeau barely cracked a smile after the Bulls finished 62-20 last season and won a couple of playoff series. But during Friday's media session, he was all smiles and shared a few laughs.

See how one fan completed the ultimate Chicago sports scavenger hunt

For one day at least, Marc-Louis Paprzyca is Chicago's greatest sports fan.

Paprzyca - known on Twitter as MLP or Pappy_Hour - completed the ultimate Chicago sports scavenger hunt Wednesday to honor Natinoal Scavenger Hunt Day, needing only three hours to accomplish the feat:

He got started early on the South Side:

Then on to The Bean:

Da Bearsss were the next stop:

Next, the North Side:

And the best for last:

What's amazing is how MLP was able to don different Chicago sports attire for every single challenge. He even donned Jordan 11s β€” the ones MJ wore during the 1996 NBA Playoffs β€” outside the United Center.

MLP β€” a blogger for Sports Mockery and three-time winner of Beer Money β€” won a pair of tickets to attend either a Cubs or Sox game.
