Will Carmelo Anthony join Bulls this time around?

Will it be 2014 all over again for the Bulls and Carmelo Anthony?

Anthony's time in New York seems to be coming to a close, as Knicks team president Phil Jackson was quoted earlier Friday saying that the 10-time All-Star "would be better off somewhere else."

Ultimately, that decision is up to Melo, though. The 32-year-old has a no-trade clause, which he would likely waive if he approves of the destination.

With the superstar on the move, are the Bulls, who courted him hard when Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah were still in Chicago, a viable option?

ESPN's Nick Friedell isn't buying it.

"I think the Bulls are going to steer completely clear of whatever Carmelo does," Friedell said.

Could Derrick Rose reunite with Tom Thibodeau in Minnesota?

Could Derrick Rose reunite with Tom Thibodeau in Minnesota?

Tom Thibodeau was without Derrick Rose for the first time in his head-coaching career last season, coaching the Timberwolves while Rose suited up for the New York Knicks.

But a reunion may be on the horizon. Rose is an unrestricted free agent and the Timberwolves, though they don't have a real need at point guard, are showing interest in the Chicago native. We'll have to wait until July 1, when free agency begins, to see what happens.
