Via the directly-named DidBrendanRyanSwing.com, here's pretty decent evidence that, yes, Brendan Ryan did swing at Philip Humber's 3-2 slider on Saturday:
That's probably the best view of Ryan's swing we'll see, and from it, it does look like he offered -- or, at the least, swung to the point where it's a toss-up call on an appeal to first base. At the least, there's more proof here than some grainy video of Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster.
