What a week it's been for Albert Almora.
First, the Cubs' 2012 first-round draft pick (sixth overall) made his season debut with the Cougars, tearing up the Midwest League.

He then left Monday's game with a hamstring injury, and Tuesday he was named Midwest League Player of the Week for the week of May 20-26.
During that span, Almora hit .538 with five doubles, six runs scored, four RBI and two walks.
Almora is currently listed as day-to-day with his hamstring injury.
