The Cubs broke ground on their new spring training facilities last July, and with the team in town to face the Arizona Diamondbacks this week Dale Sveum and the coaching staff toured the grounds.

The 15,000-seat stadium complex will cost around $99 million, with $84 million coming from the city of Mesa as part of an agreement to keep the Cubs in Arizona for the spring for the next 30 seasons.

The crew tossed on their hard hats and took a tour of the park, which will also include a 9,000-square foot practice facility so players are not forced to bus back-and-forth between Fitch Park and Ho-Ho-Kam stadium.
