In the ninth inning of Monday night's Rangers-Angels game, A.J. Pierzynski hit a game-tying home run and Geovany Soto hit a walk-off home run.
Let that sink in for a bit.
The pair of ex-Chicago catchers not only homered in the same game for the first time this year with Texas -- where both landed after departing the White Sox and Cubs, respectively, in the offseason -- but they did it in the same inning, and it was the ninth, and it won Texas a game. Both the home runs came off Angels closer Ernesto Frieri.
It's not the first time Pierzynski and Soto have homered in the same game, though. On June 18 of 2012, Pierzynski homered off Matt Garza while Soto went deep off Zach Stewart in a 12-3 Cubs win.
And speaking of Garza, the former Cubs right-hander allowed three runs on five hits with three walks and six strikeouts in seven innings. We'll let former White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen take it from here:

Indeed he did. It was a weird night in Arlington, to say the least.
