Chicago Cubs manager Dale Sveum was tossed on Wednesday in the bottom of the first inning after arguing a check-swing call on the Dodgers' lead-off hitter Yasiel Puig.

The count was 2-2 on Puig when he supposedly held up his follow through. Puig walked on the next pitch sparking Sveum to throw more words at first base umpire Lance Barksdale, who signaled a no-swing when asked for an appeal, from the dugout.

Sveum's season total for ejections has now increased to six games.
